Current Needs
This page was developed to convey to you the needs of our agency. You will find various items listed here that we are in need of ranging from scholarships to socks.
As in all homes, our cottages go through items and they occasionally need to be replaced. Items such as towels, kitchen utensils, and small appliances need to be replaced regularly. Also, as each new child comes into our program they have various needs, usually clothing needs, that we try to fill as best we can. Rancho Damacitas donors often step up and help to fill in the gap and provide much of the needed items. As you take a moment and read over these items, if you find yourself saying "I can do that for the children," please contact Nina Southard at 951-302-2317 ext. 236 or Kim Hurst at ext. 234 or send them an email from the contact page. Remember, Rancho Damacitas Children's Home is a 501 (c)(3) agency and your donation is tax deductible. Thank you for your time and consideration of these requests.
Recreational Wishes;
Newly released games for Wii system or X-Box 360, rated "E" or "T."
Newly released DVDs, rated "G," "PG," or "PG-13."
Movie passes or gift cards to our local theaters.
Bowling gift cards to Brunswick Cal-Oaks Bowl to accommodate 8 bowlers.
Education Center Wishes;
6 pairs of headphones (not ear buds) for computer lab projects.
12 flash drives/sim cards for computer lab projects.
Puzzles and models for hands-on projects for ages 10 & up.
Hemp bracelet and/or beaded jewelry making kits for ages 10 & up.
$5 - $10 gift cards from various fast-food establishments for incentives.
